Koskenkorva Vodka main sponsor at Nobel festivities
Koskenkorva Vodka, with its new concept Dare to Think, is entering the hall of thinkers, dreamers and intellectuals by participating in the world famous Nobel Festivities. At the Nobel Nightcap, the mythical after party, Nobel laureates, royalties and students will be served especially composed Koskenkorva drinks created as a tribute to Alfred Nobel.
The Nobel Prize Award Ceremony is an international affair and each year the event is witnessed all over Scandinavia by millions of people who get to know all the details about the Nobel Prize laureates, the dinner, the flowers and the fancy dresses. Later on laureates, royalties and students continue on to the mythical after party, the Nobel Night Cap, where no journalists are allowed. Koskenkorva will be hosting the themed bars serving drinks with a twist.
“We are very proud to be invited to participate in the Nobel festivities and wanted to create a drink as a tribute to Alfred Nobel who definitely was someone who dared to think. An explosion, of course, is the ultimate symbol for Nobel, hence we choose to create an explosion in a cocktail glass” says Patrik Holtari Marketing Director at Altia.
Koskenkorva Vodka wants to address the creative, independent and insightful individuals who can easily see through artificial phenomena. Thus the new “Dare to Think” concept makes Koskenkorva a suitable partner for the Nobel Festivities since it is all about celebrating people who see things differently and not just follow others. To illustrate this philosophy Koskenkorva has engaged three respected Finnish thinkers and doers who speak their minds in honest and straightforward manner in a recent brand campaign:
- Esa-Pekka Salonen - conductor and composer
- Eicca Toppinen - lead cellist of Apocalyptica
- Hans Välimäki - 2 star Michelin chef
